FUNERAL PROCESSION ARRIVES AT MIROGOJ

ZAGREB, Dec 13 (Hina) - The cortege with the hearse of the deceased Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, accompanied by his family and numerous citizens who joined the funeral procession from the Presidential Palace, arrived at 13.10 hours at the central Zagreb cemetery of Mirogoj. The caisson with President Tudjman's coffin stopped in front of the central morgue at Mirogoj, where top state officials, government members, Sabor deputies, Church dignitaries, Diplomatic Corps members and many foreign delegations awaited. Many citizens poured into the area around Mirogoj who have come to bid farewell to their late President. Eight Croatian generals transferred the coffin and placed it on the catafalque in the morgue.
