REGISTRATION OF FLATS TO BE CONDUCTED IN AREAS OF SPECIAL STATE CONCERN

GOSPIC, Dec 9 (Hina) - The Croatian Immigration Reconstruction and Development Ministry is to conduct the registration of state owned apartments in the areas of special state concern belonging to the central Croatian town of Gospic. The registration will be conducted in Licki Osik and Medak in line with the regulation on the use and management of apartments in areas of special state concern. The registration would be conducted within the next several days, the head of the administration for regional development of the Immigration, Reconstruction and Development Ministry, Pave Saslin, said during talks with Gospic mayor Milan Kolic. The registration will establish the condition and the use of the housing fund in order to prevent a person with a flat or a person whose house has been reconstructed from using a state owned flat. In the Licki Osik region, 56 apartments have been completely demolished, 26 apartments are occupied by refugees, 148 tenants received documents for the use of apartments, while 45 apartments have been reconstructed for Croats - returnees from the Diaspora. The reconstruction of those 45 apartments for Croatians from the Diaspora has been conducted by the Immigration, Reconstruction and Development Ministry. (hina) it
