BRITISH ARMY INSPECTORS ARRIVE IN CROATIA

SPLIT, Dec 6 (Hina) - British army inspectors, who are to inspect the Croatian Armed Forces' 3rd District on December 7 and 8, arrived in the Croatian port of Split on Monday. The inspection will be carried out in line with the Vienna document, signed in 1994 by 53 European countries, including Croatia. Lieutenant Colonel Price Martin John, who heads a four-member delegation, said measures for building trust and security in Europe, in line with the Vienna document, were accompanied by appropriate supervision forms, one of them being inspections between the countries-signatories to the Vienna document. The inspection starts tomorrow with a briefing at the 3rd District Command in Knin. This is the first time Lieutenant Colonel Price is in Croatia, however, he said he had had very good experience with the Croatian Army, whose officers had worked with him during an inspection in Finland.
