BRUSSELS, Dec 6 (Hina) - France on Monday reiterated its veto on Croatia's admission to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) at a session of the EU Council of Ministers in Brussels. The agenda of today's session envisaged discussions
and a possible consensus on this topic, given that during a recent WTO ministerial conference in Seattle talks had been held on the disputable issue of audio-visual services, which obstructs Croatia's and, for similar reasons, Albania's admission to the WTO. However, when asked by the Finnish EU Presidency, if there was anything new regarding this issue, France's representative answered negatively, thus cancelling further discussion in the Council of Ministers on this topic.(hina) rml
