ZAGREB, Nov 23 (Hina) - Representatives of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and parliament's opposition parties resumed at 3 p.m. on Tuesday negotiations on the passing of a constitutional law which would regulate the
temporary disability of the President of the Republic to perform his duties. The four-member task group, which was to formulate the bill, was unable to reach by 3 p.m. an agreement on the duration of the temporary disability, nor on whether it should be succeeded by the institute of permanent disability. The Opposition Six coalition today requested the HDZ to also set by consensus the date of impending parliamentary elections.(hina) ha
