ZAGREB ZAGREB, Nov 22 (Hina) - Remains of the three killed members of the Sevo family were transferred from Italy to Zagreb on Monday. They are believed to have been killed by the secret police (Udba) of the then Yugoslavia in 1972 in

In view to grounded suspicion that their murder was politically motivated, they were included in lists of victims after World War Two, compiled by Croatia's Commission for the establishment of Second World War victims and victims in the wake of that war. The head of the Club of Croatians who returned to Croatia from Diaspora, Vlado Glavas, said that remains of nine Croatian emigrants, Udba victims, had been transferred to the country so far. According to figures of this Club, there are 68 Croatian emigrants killed by the former Yugoslav secret police. killed them.
Sindicic, who is currently being tried in Zagreb for his alleged
assassination of emigrant Bruno Busic, has previously denied
allegations that he might have killed the Sevo family.
The funeral of the remains of Stjepan Sevo, his wife Tatjana and
Stjepan's foster daughter Rozemarija Bahoric, will be conducted at
01.00 pm Friday (26 November) at the Zagreb central cemetery of
Mirogoj.
