ZAGREB, Nov 18 (Hina) - On these special occasions, Croatia's Catholic bishops have called on the faithful to pray for the Homeland and the health of Croatia's President advising everyone to respect the privacy of the prayer and not
to try to convert religious feelings into some other merits. According to a statement issued on Thursday from an extraordinary plenary session of Croatia's Bishops Conference (HKB), it has been accentuated that the Church has always prayed and will pray for heads of state and all people who hold responsible offices as they are called to work for general weal. Concerning the forthcoming election, the HKB session asserted that the HKB commission 'Iustita Et Pax' had already expressed the stance on this matter very appropriately. According to a statement issued on Thursday from an extraordinary
plenary session of Croatia's Bishops Conference (HKB), it has been

Concerning the forthcoming election, the HKB session asserted that

Bishops will soon forward a message on the occasion of the election
for the Croatian National Sabor's House of Representatives.
The Roman Catholic dignitaries appealed on citizens, particularly
on those in power, to respect law and regular procedures of state
institutions in order to contribute to the social welfare and
further development of democratic principles in Croatia.
