The reason for this one-day meeting of bishops is developments in the Church and society, and the special emphasis will be given to the conclusions of the Synod for European Bishops, held in Rome from 1 to 23 October this year, as well as to the preparations for the upcoming parliamentary election in the country, the Croatian Bishops Conference's Secretariat reported a few days ago. Present at this extraordinary session of Croatian Catholic dignitaries will be the Apostolic Nuncio, Msgr. Giulio Einaudi.
