are two Croats - Nathan Grozay and Darko Matic - among runners.

The start of the 20-kilometres-long peace race was in Lisbon on
January 1, while its finish is to be in London on 31 December this
year.
The athletes in this race will pass through all major European
cities.
After their two-hour stop in the Croatian coastal city of Split,
participants headed toward Bosnia-Herzegovina. The peace race will
return to Croatia from Bosnia on 25 October when runners should
arrive in the town of Slavonski Brod on the left bank of the Sava
River.
The torch of peace, being carried by these runners, will leave
Slavonski Brod for Zagreb on 27 October in order to reach Slovenia
on 30 October.
The sponsors of the race's route in Croatia are the Croatian Olympic
Committee, Education an Sports Ministry and the Government's
Office in charge of European integration processes.
This race has been supported by famous religious dignitaries such
as Pope John Paul II, world leaders, UN Secretary-General and many
Nobel Prize winners.
