LJUBLJANA, Nov 16 (Hina) - The ratification of a Croatian-Slovene agreement on cross-border trade remains questionable in the Slovene National Parliament after another of a series of parties' meetings held on Monday. The meeting was
held ahead of Tuesday's parliamentary session. The session's agenda includes the ratification of the document. Slovene Deputy Prime Minister Marjan Podobnik said after the meeting that representatives of parliamentary parties failed to harmonise their stands on whether the agreement was prejudging the state border. Another parties' meeting needs to be called. The Liberal Democrats (LDS), headed by Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek, in principle support the ratification, however, calculations about the pre-electoral situation in Croatia, are noticeable.(hina) it jn
