WEEK OF CROATIAN FILM TO TAKE PLACE IN BERLIN ON NOV 23-30

BERLIN, Nov 6 (Hina) - "The Week of the Croatian Film", an event which will include the presentation of 16 films, is to take place in Berlin on November 23-30. The films which will be shown to the German public are "Rondo" by Zvonimir Berkovic, "Breza (Birch)" by Ante Babaja, "Those Who Sing Mean no Harm" by Kreso Golik, "H-8" by Nikola Tanhofer, "Lisice (Foxes)" by Krsto Papic, "Mondo Bobo" by Goran Rusinovic, "Ritam zlocina (The Rhythm of Crime)", "Slivers - the Chronology of a Disappearance" by Zrinko Ogresta, "Kako je poceo rat na mom otoku (How the War Started on My Island" by Vinko Bresan and films by the Croatian Film Academy "Prostor omedjen nicim (Space Bounded by Nothing)" by Tomislav Jagec, "Vidimo se... (See You...)" by Ivan Salaj and "Dvoboj (Duel)" by Zrinko Matijevic. Zdenka Weber, the first secretary for culture at the Croatian Embassy in Berlin, told Hina the event was the first festival of the Croatian film to be organised in Berlin since Croatia gained independence. "The Week of the Croatian Film" is organised by the Berlin film company "Babylon", Potsdam film library, Croatian Culture Ministry, German Foreign Ministry and the Croatian Embassy in Berlin.
