ZAGREB/THE HAGUE, Oct 25 (Hina) - The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) on Monday confirmed the detention by the Stabilisation Force of Damir Dosen, charged with seven counts of crimes against humanity
and violations of laws or customs of war. The ICTY statement read that Dosen was charged on basis of individual criminal responsibility and superior criminal responsibility for his alleged role as a shift commander at the Karaterm detention camp in the north-western Bosnia-Hercegovina between May and August 1992. The indictment against Dosen, which includes seven items, reads that interrogations in the Karaterm concentration camp were conducted on daily basis, severe beatings, torture, killings, sexual assault, and other forms of physical and mental abuse were commonplace.
