ZAGREB, Oct 20 (Hina) - Parties making up Croatia's Opposition Six group on Wednesday voiced grave concern with a statement Croatian President Franjo Tudjman made to the foreign press on 18 October when, they claim, he avoided giving
an answer to the question whether he would respect electoral results and appoint a premier from the opposition. Reading an Opposition Six public statement, coordinator Ivan Jakovcic said Tudjman's claim once again confirmed the opposition's suspicion that he will not accept the results of the impending parliamentary elections. President Franjo Tudjman made to the foreign press on 18 October
when, they claim, he avoided giving an answer to the question
whether he would respect electoral results and appoint a premier
from the opposition.
Reading an Opposition Six public statement, coordinator Ivan

Representatives of the parliamentary benches of the parties making
up the Opposition Six convened today after assessing that President
Tudjman's statement, an the entire interview, had met with a strong
reaction in the domestic and international public, Jakovcic said.
The Opposition Six includes the Istrian Democratic Assembly, the
Social Democratic Party, the Liberal Party, the Croatian Social
Liberal Party, the Croatian Peasants' Party, and the Croatian
People's Party.
