ZAGREB, Oct 20 (Hina) - A Norwegian delegation, headed by Secretary of State in the Foreign Ministry Janne Haaland Matlary, visited the Croatian Danube River region on Wednesday. Talks held with local officials in the eastern Croatian
town of Vukovar, discussed safety conditions which are to be created for the return of about 1,200 Croatian citizens of Serb nationality, to whom Norway denied visas. We are here to see whether safety conditions for the return of Serbs were created. We are aware that both Croatians and Serbs are facing great difficulties, but we insist that those conditions be created. This is something we will insist on, however, we are ready to help solve certain problems, Matlary said.
