WASHINGTON, Oct 19 (Hina) - Croatia's Minister of Development, Immigration and Reconstruction, Jure Radic, is on a visit to the United States. The visit is part of preparations for the presentation of Croatia's economic potential,
which should take place in Houston, Texas, in February or March next year. On Tuesday, Radic informed reporters about the talks he held in Houston with Mayor Lee Brown and a representative in Congress, Sheila Jackson Lee. The US officials were glad to accept membership in a committee to organise the presentation of Croatia. Minister Radic and Croatia's Ambassador to the United States, Miomir Zuzul, also held talks with a number of US business people interested in cooperation with Croatia, as well as with prominent members of the Croat community in America. During his visit to Washington, Radic met representatives of the largest associations of Croats living in America.
