CAKOVEC, Oct 7 (Hina) - Border police in the northern Croatian Medjimurje County on Wednesday night arrested a group of 43 Turks and four Iranians near the Robadje village, while they were trying to cross from Croatia into Slovenia.
One of the persons guiding the group attacked a police officer, managing to escape, as did the other guides. The police are searching for them. Last night's arrest proved a claim by seven foreign nationals, who were caught on Tuesday on the Croatian-Slovene border, that they are part of a larger group trying to illegally enter Slovenia from Croatia. Apart from other measures, the magistrate's court in Cakovec ordered that the arrested parties be expelled from Croatia and banned from entering it for a period of five years. (hina) rml
