ZAGREB, Oct 7 (Hina) - At the 10th conference of premiers to take place in Hungary's Nagycenk Friday, Croatia will take over the chairmanship of the Working Community of Danubian Regions for 2000, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in
a statement Thursday. Foreign Ministry secretary Gordan Grlic-Radman will head the Croatian delegation at the conference as the envoy of Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa. During its one-year chairmanship, Croatia wishes to provide an additional profile to the Danubian orientation of Croatia's foreign policy, organise economic and cultural forums and the cooperation of members' youth. The Working Community gathers 24 regions from 11 countries of the Danubian belt. The goal of the cooperation is to stimulate the development of economy, traffic, urban planning, tourism, culture, science and environment protection.
