SKOPJE SKOPJE, Oct 5 (Hina) - Representatives of forty and odd leading Croatian companies, led by the president of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Nadan Vidosevic, on Monday held talks with Macedonian businessmen on promoting the
trade between the two countries. At the Skopje meeting, they said the Croatian-Macedonian trade had recently rose by 20 percent annually. Last year it totalled 120 million US dollars, but it was just a sixth versus 1989 when the exchange of goods amounted to 680 million dollars. The purpose of the Skopje meeting was to find and remove obstacles on the path toward better economic cooperation. If quotes can be gradually abolished, according to a Free Trade Contract, and if the inter-state legal regulations are concluded, next year we shall be able to double the trade as we have all conditions for that, said the head of Macedonia's Chamber of Commerce
