ZAGREB, Sept 29 (Hina) - The trade union of the Croatian oil company INA and oil industry (SING) believes that INA needs to be privatised before its possible merging with the Hungarian oil company MOL, Sing president Bozo Mikus told a
press conference on Wednesday. A privatisation process which would take place before a merging process would enable more possibilities for the protection of current and former employees. Mikus stressed that INA trade unions must have a significant role in the privatisation process, on the model of the privatisation of Croatian Telecommunications. The most important thing is to insure positions, shares for employees, and a place in managing bodies of privatised INA, which will possibly merged with MOL, Mikus said. The SING believes that after the merging process, Croatia and Hungary should have the same ownership share. SING secretary Dubravko Surina reported on cooperation
