PRISTINA PRISTINA, Sept 27 (Hina) - NATO Secretary General Javier Solana and NATO Commander for Europe Wesley Clark held talks with representatives of Kosovo Albanians and Serbs in Pristina Sunday evening. Solana and Clark demanded
that Albanians give up on the idea of Kosovo's independence. The two officials also requested that Albanians show greater tolerance. Serbian party was asked to return to the Kosovo Transitional Council and to give up trying on the idea of forming Serb national forces. Solana and Clark also held talks with the KFOR Commander, General Michael Jackson. Serb representative Momcilo Trajkovic and Orthodox priest Sava Janjic informed NATO senior officials of the reasons why they had left the Kosovo Transitional Council. After the talks, Sava Janjic told reporters that Serb representatives advocated the multiethnic Kosovo, however, they would not accept one-nation institutions, which block democratic

Serb representatives stressed they would continue to hold talks
with Albanian representatives but not within the Transitional

Solana and Clark on Sunday held talks with independent Kosovo
politician Veton Surroi, President of the Kosovo Interim
Government Hashim Thaqi, and Commander of the Kosovo Liberation
Army Defence Corps Agim Qeku.
The two NATO officials are scheduled to hold a press conference
Monday after which they are to depart for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
