NEW YORK, Sept 24 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic, received representatives of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) in New York Friday.Minister Granic is visiting New York and participating in the 54th session of the
United Nation General Assembly. Granic and AJC officials discussed the position of the Jewish community in Croatia and relations between Jewish community in the world and Israel. The AJC advocated the establishment and development of relations between Croatia and Israel. AJC representatives expressed satisfaction with Croatia's participation in and the contribution to last year's Washington international conference on Holocaust. ACJ representatives praised a decision of the Croatian National Archive to open documents from World War Two, even though a part of the material had been taken to Belgrade. They also expressed interest in the return of property to Jews in
