PRISTINA, Sept 20 (Hina) - Radio Television Kosovo (RTK), set upin the southern Yugoslav province of Kosovo by the European Broadcasting Union, went on the air on September 19 at 1900hours. The station will broadcast news and
information, in both Albanian and Serbian languages, for two hours daily. The guest of the first broadcast was the United Nations civil administrator for Kosovo Bernard Kouchner. He stressed that a lack of tolerance and trust was still present in Kosovo, adding that it would take months, even years to change that. According to Kouchner, one of the primer duties is the reconstruction of infrastructure. Local elections, followed by elections at broader level should be held as soon as possible, he added.(hina) it
