Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday reached a decision by which it will
refuse parliamentary support to the government of Republika
Srpska, Bosnia's Serb entity, headed by Milorad Dodik.
The presidents of the four parties making the Coalition, Alija
Izetbegovic, Haris Silajdzic, Rasim Kadic, and Ibrahim Spahic
today met in Sarajevo with Bosnian Muslim representatives in the RS
parliament to analyse the Muslims' position in that entity.
According to a statement from the meeting broadcast by Television
Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Coalition concluded the Muslims' position
in the RS was not improving and that the Dayton peace agreement had
been blocked, especially the implementation of an annex on refugee
return, that neither a multiethnic police nor judiciary was being
established, and that war criminals were not being arrested.
Given also the fact that RS Premier Dodik had not responded to the
Coalition's demand that it take part in the Bosnian Serb
parliament, the Coalition decided that as of August 29, it would
refuse to support Dodik as they did so far.
