ZAGREB, Sept 13 (Hina) - In the beginning of September the
International Monetary Fund (IMF) launched 'Country Pages' on its
website to make it easier for website-users to seek information
about 182 IMF member-states.#L#
In this way, the IMF provides easier access to economic and
financial data about each of its 182 member-countries, the Fund
reported.
The Country Pages draw on all information already posted on the IMF
website. Country-specific information also includes press
releases, letters of intent and all documents relating to the
cooperation between a country and the IMF.
The Fund also proposes to add links to official websites of central
banks and finance ministries to aid public access to country
economic and financial information, read the statement.
The website about Croatia contains economic indicators in the
period from 1993 to 1997 as well as contracts between Zagreb and
this financial organisation concluded from 1995 to 1998.
