The delegation handed President Tudjman a White Book containing
documents proving that Croatia has cooperated with the ICTY since
the Tribunal was established, as well as documents which Croatia
presented to the U.N. Security Council and a commission of U.N.
experts in line with the U.N. Security Council resolutions of
1992.
The book contains evidence which dismisses claims on Croatia's non-
cooperation with the ICTY, as well as the claim that criminal acts
committed on the fringes of Croatia's operations aimed at
liberating its territory have not been processed.
According to the book, there is a disproportion between the number
of indictments issued against Croats and those issued against
crimes committed against Croat population and for which there are
documents and irrefutable evidence which were submitted to the
ICTY.
Present at the meeting with the President were also Presidential
Chief-of-Staff Ivica Kostovic and the President's advisor on
internal policy, Ivic Pasalic.
