ZAGREB/BONN, Sept 6 (Hina) - Germany's Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer on Monday met with presidents of parliaments of Council of Europe and G8 member-countries, including the President of the Croatian National Sabor, Vlatko
Pavletic, and the President of House of Counties, Katica Ivanisevic. According to the Croatian radio, during the Bonn meeting, held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the constitution of the German federal council (the upper house or Bundesrat), Fischer pointed to the importance of European integration processes. He also said there would be no stable Europe without the stable south-east of that continent. Countries (in southeastern Europe) have no alternative to the approach to EuroAtlantic integration, Fischer said adding that they had to seek settlements to their problems on that path. Croatian representatives along with other delegations will visit Berlin
