ZAGREB, Sept 6 (Hina) - Croatia will apply to host the 31st European Small Business Seminar in 2001, and the Croatian Government has accepted to sponsor the event. On Sunday the Government accepted the Economy Ministry's proposal that
Croatia may offer its bid to host this seminar organised by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). The EFMD managing board will decide on Croatia's candidacy during this year's 29th seminar which is to take place in Portugal from 15 to 17 September. The seminar can help promote Croatia's small business and entrepreneurship as well as the Government's policy for developing this sector. Costs for organising such event will be covered by participation fees of those who take part in the seminar and by means ensured by the Economy Ministry.
