Skugor said on Sunday that for the organisers it was important to achieve a feeling of closeness between bands and the audience and create a relaxing atmosphere which he said Terraneo had succeeded in.
The festival's programme started on August 9 and was divided into a few open air stages.
Some of the prominent participants playing at the festival were The National, The Baseball Project, Handsome Furs, The Fall, Janelle Monae, La Roux, Crystal Castles, Mogwai, Oneida, The Thermals, Nouvelle Vague, Raveonettes, Destroyer and Wovenhand.
In early June the British newspaper The Telegraph included the Terraneo Festival in Sibenik and the Garden Festival in Petrcane near Zadar on its list of the best rock and pop festivals to be held in Europe this summer.
Recommending the Terraneo Festival in Sibenik, The Telegraph wrote then: "Set outside the attractive port of Sibenik on the Dalmatian coast, this five-day, eco-friendly festival offers music from the likes of The National, La Roux and The Fall and travel opportunities including boat excursions to islands, coves and trips to nearby national parks. There are also Lomo workshops for people interested in analogue film."
Also recommended was the Garden Festival in Petrcane near Zadar, which was held on July 6-14.
