Having in mind that this practice has been in place since the 6 October election in Bosnia, the HNS and associations of Croat expatriates announced a strong campaign for constitutional changes which will enable the Croats to be on an equal footing with the other two constituent peoples: the Bosniaks and the Serbs.
"This can be achieved through the change of the constitution and the election legislation so that legitimate Croat representatives will be in office," the Croat National Assembly Dragan Covic told a news conference after today's meeting in Mostar.
Today's meeting gathered representatives of associations of Croatian expatriates in the Untied States, Australia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and some other countries.
They supported an initiative for opening offices lobbying for Bosnian Croats' interests in Washington, Brussels and Berlin.
