ZAGREB, Aug 31 (Hina) - The Croatian Government on Monday decided that the Croatian state bodies would no longer cooperate with a co-chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Haris Silajdzic, after he repeated and
extended his accusations against Croatia saying, among other things, that "the Croatian state leadership is responsible for the conflict between Croats and Bosniaks in Bosnia-Herzegovina due to its territorial pretensions toward Bosnia-Herzegovina", the Government Media and Public Relations Office said in a statement on Tuesday.
ZAGREB, Aug 31 (Hina) - The Croatian Government on Monday decided

Silajdzic, after he repeated and extended his accusations against
Croatia saying, among other things, that "the Croatian state
leadership is responsible for the conflict between Croats and
Bosniaks in Bosnia-Herzegovina due to its territorial pretensions
toward Bosnia-Herzegovina", the Government Media and Public
Relations Office said in a statement on Tuesday. #L#
"The Government strongly rejects the unsubstantiated and
irresponsible insinuations made by Haris Silajdzic as insulting
and totally unacceptable, and has therefore decided that the state
bodies of the Republic of Croatia will no longer cooperate with
Silajdzic in any function", the statement said.
"Deeply appalled at the repetition and dissemination of these
severe accusations, the Croatian Government has established that
Haris Silajdzic is not taking into account the factual situation in
the current relations between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina nor
their historical development", the statement said.
At the Monday session, the Government also stressed the decision
would not affect the Croatian-Bosnian relations because the
Government and the state leadership "truly wish and are committed
to making those relations suit the interests of the two friendly
states and neighbours".
"The Government of the Republic of Croatia welcomes the decision of
the Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina which distances
itself from Silajdzic's statements, and reaffirms its strong
commitment to further strengthening and intensifying the Croatian-
Bosnian-Herzegovinian relations to the benefit of both sides and
with the aim of strengthening stability in the region".
The statement also reminds about the help Croatia had provided for
Bosnia-Herzegovina in resisting the great-Serbian aggression, and
Croatia's role in making the peace agreement a reality "not as a
country involved in the conflict but as a neighbouring country
interested in peace and stability in its neighbourhood as well as in
the survival of the Croat people in Bosnia-Herzegovina".
Relations between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina are developing
positively, of which numerous agreements are bearing proof,
including the latest agreement - the one on the borders, "which has
finally put an end to the speculation about Croatia's territorial
pretensions toward Bosnia-Herzegovina", the statement concluded.
