He added their return represented an important step forward in easing the tensions in the second largest town in Kosovo. In the past 24 hours, a 25-year-old Albanian was killed from firearms in a village five kilometres from Pristina, while two Serbs were severely beaten up by six Albanians. The injured have been hospitalised in Pristina. It was also reported that a grenade went off in Kosovo Polje near Pristina, but there has been no information on the consequences.
