BELGRADE, Aug 30 (Hina) - The president of the Serb National Council (SNV), Milorad Pupovac, requested that Croatian Serbs who fled to Yugoslavia be given the right to vote in the upcoming elections in Croatia. In an interview with
the Monday issue of Belgrade's 'Vecernje novosti' paper, Pupovac said his request was also supported by the international community, which had informed the Croatian Government of its stand on the matter. "It is time for Serb refugees, after four years, to be given this basic civil right, which was given to all other refugees from the territory of the former Yugoslavia", Pupovac said.(hina) rml
