VUKOVAR STALLED VUKOVAR, Aug 28 (Hina) - Special teams of the Croatian Government Commission for Missing and Imprisoned Persons were forced to stop the exhumation of a well in Vukovar due to a surge of underground waters. The
exhumation began two days ago and ten bodies have been uplifted so far, mostly of women and children. The remains have been transported to the Zagreb forensic science institute for identification. According to the Commission head, Lieutenant Marko Milos, the exhumation will continue in about ten days. As of Monday, August 30, teams will begin exhumations in the Pakrac region and Sisak-Moslavina County (central Croatia), after which they will return to Vukovar-Srijem County to complete exhuming the well in downtown Vukovar.
