ZAGREB, Aug 26 (Hina) - The number of travellers using air travel in Croatia decreased in the second quarter of this year by 14.8 per cent compared to the same period last year. Two hundred and seven thousand travellers were recorded
of whom 77K were local travellers or 18.1 per cent less than last year while 130K passengers or 12.8 per cent less were international passengers. This data was reported by the State Bureau of Statistics, in a report which further notes a 19.4 per cent decrease in the total amount of goods transported by air. Air traffic at airports in the same period decreased by 15.3 per cent During the second quarter, there was increased travel which can be explained by the Spring season and beginning of this year's tourist season.
