SINJ, Aug 26 (Hina) - A bush fire on the eastern bank of the Peruca lake near Sinj (southern Croatia), is still burning however, it is not threatening residential areas, Sinj fire officials reporter Thursday. The fire nevertheless
came within 500 metres of houses in Zasiok village. Two Canadair planes will be included in the battle to prevent the fire from spreading. The fire took light on August 24 burning some 300 hectares of grassland. Fire fighters cannot approach the fire as the area is covered in land mines placed during the war. (hina) sp
