ZAGREB, Aug 24 (Hina) - Representatives of the "Apel" centre concerned with protection of human rights of those detained or missing persons from Croatia and members of their families on Tuesday once again lit candles in front of the
International Red Cross headquarters in Zagreb in honour of Croats detained or abducted during the Serb aggression against Croatia. The purpose of their peaceful protest was to remind of the uncertain fate of 1,692 persons who went missing during the aggression against Croatia. A representative of the "Apel" centre Zdenka Farkas stated that the protest was organised to recall the victims of the recent aggression but also of the 1,179 victims killed in Slovenia in 1945 whose remains were recently exhumed. The protest will continue again at the same place on Thursday.(hina) sp
