ZAGREB, July 28 (Hina) - The Croatian Peasants' Alliance (HSS) demanded from the Croatian Government to include in joint commissions for observing the implementation of an agreement from June 30 only those peasants' alliances which
participated in the blockade of roads in June, namely the HSS and the Alliance of Sugar Beet Manufacturers, HSS president Ivan Kolar told a press conference on Wednesday. Kolar stressed that only the two alliances had participated in the protest, which resulted in the agreement, and not the union of peasants' associations of Slavonia and Baranja and the ruling Croatian Democratic Union's (HDZ) peasants association, Stjepan Sulimanac, which held talks with the Government on the implementation of the agreement. The HSS is ready to hold further negotiations with the Government on the realisation of the agreement and a programme of the fall wheat sowing.
