programme for a future government. "We believe that our voters expect this of us", said deputy president Mladen Vilfan at a press conference. Vilfan said that the "Opposition Six" had already discussed such a programme and that his party has come up with a proposal which will be presented to our political partners. The LS foresees that the new government should be convened mid February next year with a programme consisting of four phases. The first would last for six months with the aim of managing the current crisis. The second phase would continue until the year's end when the crisis would be curbed. The third phase then could concentrate on development which would be based on the 2001 budget. Rapid economic growth could be achieved in the fourth phase according
