Antonio Conte, the president of the European Tourist Press
Federation, and Antonio Bonelli, the owner and journalist with the
International Tourist Press (ITP), are visiting the Brijuni Isles
in Croatia's northern Adriatic.
According to the statement, Conte and Bonelli will later this week
hold talks with Croatian Deputy Tourism Minister Vinka Cetinski.
They will discuss Bonelli's proposal for a feature project on
Croatia's towns suitable for spectacles and events on the
international scale. Called "Croazia, i luoghi dello spettacolo"
(Croatia, Places for Shows), the project should appear as a special
supplement to ITP's magazine.
The talks, which will also include representatives of the Ministry
of Culture, should also discuss events of international
importance, film festivals, film-making institutions and
companies, culture associations which organise international
events, and a project called "Millennium - World Tourist
Attractions - the Jewels of Croatia's Cultural Heritage."
According to the statement, the Croatian tourism ministry believes
the feature in ITP's magazine is interesting and will help
establish a positive image of Croatia as a tourist destination for
Italians.
The guests from Italy will also participate in the opening of the
impending Film Festival in Pula.
