ZAGREB, July 24 (Hina) - Traffic on all roads throughout Croatia has been intensified today. Gridlock has been caused on roads from Karlovac to Split and Rijeka. The traffic has stopped completely near the Plitvice Lakes on the Licka
main road jammed with a 30-kilomtre-long column of cars. Therefore, police are showing drivers in Karlovac to use the state road D 23 instead of the D1. Besides, cars which are reaching Dreznicko Seliste are being directed toward Zuta Lokva-Otocac-Gospic-Gracac road. Ferries for the island of Pag can drive only on the Fortica-Miletici line, as they cannot use the Prizna-Zigljen or Prizna-Stara Novalja directions due to a strong gale. That's why a 6-kilometre-long column of cars has been already created in the site of Miletici on the mainland. The ferry service with other Adriatic islands is normal.(hina) ms
