ZAGREB, July 21 (Hina) - Croatia's Agriculture Minister Ivan Djurkic and Science and Technology Minister Milena Zic-Fuchs, on Wednesday signed a letter of intent for financing a part of the construction of facilities for a practicum
in cattle breeding in Krizevci (50 kilometres northeast of Zagreb). These facilities will be used by pupils in the high school and the Krizevci college of agriculture. This job is a part of a project based on a 1997 Memorandum of Understanding signed by Croatian and Dutch governments. The project provided for the building of a dairy and a dairy cow shed. The Netherlands approved 970,000 guldens (or 3.3 million kuna) as non-repayable funds for this purpose. This April the dairy was ceremonially opened, and now the cow shed should be built.
