ZAGREB, July 20 (Hina) - The French Foreign Ministry's department for agreements on reciprocity on Tuesday held a meeting with Croatian officials, discussing an integral solution to the Croatian-French issue of acknowledging and
exchanging driving licences, as well as the acknowledgement of driving licences of bearers of special cards. According to a Croatian Interior Ministry statement, an agreement on adopting the integral acknowledgement and exchange of driving licences was reached on the basis of principles on reciprocity. Croatian citizens must within a year since regulating their stay in France submit a request for exchanging Croatian for French driving licences. Diplomatic and consular workers, carriers of special cards issued by the Foreign Ministry, can use their driving licences for the duration of their mandate.
