NEW YORK, July 13 (Hina) - According to this year's United Nations' report on human development, published in Geneva and New York on Monday, Croatia is on the 55th place, among countries with medium development. About 30 renown
experts from the whole world analysed the factors of quality of living in 174 countries. With the average life expectancy of 71.6 and 98% literacy, Croatia could take a higher position. It is held below the magic development line of 80 points (is has a total of 75.9 points) by a relatively low gross income per capita. Experts who drew up the report concluded optimistically that the global market, technologies, ideas, and solidarity could make living much better and richer regardless of where people live.(hina) rml
