PULA SHIPYARD PULA, July 6 (Hina) - A tanker for transport of oil and chemicals, "Alioth", was handed over at Pula's shipyard "Uljanik" on Tuesday. The shipyard constructed the tanker for the Monrovia-based company Intrigue Shipping
Inc. The ship is 150 m long and 23 m wide, and it will develop a speed of 15.5 knots. This is the fourth ship from a series of ships built by "Uljanik" for Novoshipp, the mother company of the Liberian client. Today's hand-over ceremony is the second of six hand-over ceremonies planned for this year. The remaining two ships and the first two ships from a series for transport of cars and freight vehicles will also be handed over. At the beginning of this week, a contract was signed at "Uljanik" on the construction of two ships for the Pula shipping company "Uljanik-Plovidba".
