ZAGREB, June 28 (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian Farmers' Association, led by the Association's head, Ivan Kolar, and Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa will hold a meeting in Zagreb at 02.00 pm Monday, the Association said in a
statement today. They will discuss the resolution of farmers' demands such as the payment for last year's crops and products, an increase in the purchase price for wheat this year and a ban on import of agricultural products amounts of which are already sufficient on the Croatian market. The statement read that farmer are united in their insistence on exercising their rights and that they expect from Matesa to open a new approach to meeting demands of farmers, which will take into account the real position of peasants in Croatia.(hina) ms
