ZAGREB, June 26 (Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Foreign Minister, Ivo Sanader, on Friday received the head of the European Community's monitoring mission in Croatia, German diplomat Horst Holthoff, at the farewell visit, the Foreign
Ministry said in a statement. Sanader thanked Holthoff for his work and the successful conduct of the monitoring mission. The Croatian official reiterated that his country remained committed to endeavours to enter as soon as possible European and Transatlantic institutions. Sanader also voiced satisfaction with the positive tone of conclusions of the European Union Ministerial Council, adding that the Croatian state leadership is resolute to have a new electoral law very soon as the strengthening of democracy and the economic progress are basic interests of Croatia, read the statement.(hina) ms
