Representatives on Friday adopted with 72 votes for, 17 against and one abstention, the rescheduling of the state budget for this year. This year's budget will, thus, be decreased by about US$13.7 million, and its expenditure will amount to US$6.7 billion. The rescheduling of the budget was adopted after a debate on about 70 amendments, but most of them were dismissed or partially adopted by the Government (mostly pertaining to the construction and reconstruction of schools) with its amendments. The Government, Finance Minister Borislav Skegro said, adopted MPs motions and left unchanged the amount of funds planned for the reconstruction of homes for invalids and the reconstruction of war-damaged family homes.
