ZAGREB, June 16 (Hina) - Some 20 Croatian publishers will participate with 443 books in the nineteenth international book fair in Jerusalem between June 20 and 25. This will be the Croatian publishers' first organised presentation,
arranged by the Zagreb Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the Croatian Ministry of Culture. A press conference was held in Zagreb on Wednesday, at which Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic, his assistant Branka Sulc, Zagreb Chamber of Commerce president Vjekoslav Tomasic, and book selector Josip Bratulic spoke about the upcoming event. The purpose of Croatia's participation is to present the national publishing industry, especially in relation to books on the heritage of Croatia's written word and the contemporary achievements in publishing in Croatian and foreign languages.
