SPLIT SPLIT, June 12 (Hina) - A Chinese military delegation, led by deputy chief-of-staff Lieutenant General Kui Fulin, on Saturday visited the coastal city of Split and held talks with the command of the Croatian Navy (HRM) and the
fourth guards brigade called "Spiders". The HRM Commander Vice-Admiral Vid Stipetic informed the guests in detail about the Navy's operations during the Homeland War and about its tasks in peace. Under the order of the Supreme Commander of Croatia's Armed Forces, President Franjo Tudjman, the HRM is now being re-organised in line with modern standards. After the re-organisation, the HRM will be a relatively small navy with state-of-art military equipment, Vice-Admiral Stipetic told Chinese officials. The Chinese military delegation saw HRM ships.
