TIRANA, June 1 (Hina) - Fighting between Yugoslav forces and the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) in the area of the Yugoslav-Albanian border continued on Tuesday, Albanian sources reported. Reporters covering the fighting from the
northern part of the Albanian border say that Kruma, a mountain village in north-east Albania, has been hit with several shells. According to the reporters, NATO planes have hit Yugoslav army positions on the border with Albania. Radio Tirana this morning reported that Serbian forces continued cannon attacks on Albanian territory. The Albanian border watchtower in the village Poga was destroyed in the attacks yesterday. About 400 Kosovo Albanians, of whom 250 had been released from the prison in Smrekovnica, near Vucitrn, arrived at the border crossing Morina near Kukes late last night.
